UC Riverside’s Biomedical Sciences graduate program is a unique integration of medical curriculum focused on human pathophysiology coupled with problem based learning focused on the design, implementation and analysis of clinically relevant experimental models for biomedical research problems.
The goal of our biomedical sciences graduate program is to train independent research scientists able to bridge the wide gulfs that currently exist between basic science research and clinical medicine.
